1. Service Description

BrokerStream is a software-as-a-service platform designed for licensed insurance brokers and agents. The platform automates policy tracking by connecting to insurance carrier portals on your behalf, consolidates policy and commission data into a single dashboard, and provides AI-powered tools to assist with lead management and carrier product guidance.

2. Eligibility

You must be a licensed insurance broker or agent in your state of operation to use BrokerStream. By creating an account, you represent that you hold all required licenses and appointments to sell insurance products through the carriers you connect.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and complete carrier portal credentials when connecting carriers.
• You are solely responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• You must not share your BrokerStream account with other brokers or agents unless under an authorized agency plan.

4. Carrier Portal Access

BrokerStream accesses carrier portals using the credentials you provide. You authorize BrokerStream to log into these portals on your behalf solely for the purpose of retrieving policy data, commission information, and book of business records. You acknowledge that:

• You have the right to access these portals and retrieve this data.
• BrokerStream does not modify, submit, or alter any data on carrier portals.
• Carrier portal availability and data formats may change without notice, which may temporarily affect BrokerStream functionality.
• BrokerStream is not responsible for any actions taken by carriers regarding your portal access.

5. Data Accuracy

BrokerStream retrieves and displays data as provided by carrier portals. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that the data displayed is complete, current, or error-free. Commission calculations are estimates based on publicly available rate structures and may differ from actual carrier payments. Always verify critical data directly with the carrier.

6. AI Admin Assistant

The AI Admin feature provides general guidance based on carrier product information and lead data. It does not constitute professional advice, legal counsel, or binding carrier underwriting decisions. You are responsible for verifying all AI-generated recommendations against official carrier guidelines before acting on them.

7. Subscription and Payment

• BrokerStream is offered on a monthly subscription basis.
• Pricing is listed on our website and may change with 30 days written notice.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are not provided for partial months of service.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use BrokerStream for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform.
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure.
• Use the platform to access carrier portals for purposes other than retrieving your own policy data.
• Share, resell, or sublicense your access to BrokerStream.

9. Limitation of Liability

BrokerStream is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrokerStream shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, lost commissions, data loss, or business interruption, arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of BrokerStream shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may cancel your subscription through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease, but you may request an export of your data within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of BrokerStream after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
